C Lazy U Ranch 2024 Photographers Winter Getaway

Cowgirls with Cameras first ever Winter Photography event was AMAZING!

Thank you to the wonderful group of photographers that joined us at the C Lazy U Ranch for some winter photography, what a fantastic group!

We had such a great time with each of you, thanks to Allison, Carole, Joanne, Faith, Courtney, Ren and Tim!

We all had such a fabulous time, we are still on a high from this trip and already talking

about doing it again next year so stay tuned for 2025 dates!

Just a few of the 200 head of horses in the C Lazy U Ranch Horse Cavvy

First thing each morning the wranglers bring the herd in from their overnight pasture and later that afternoon they jingle the herd back out to fresh alfalfa.

We had such an amazing group of wranglers to photograph during our time at the C Lazy U.

Everything at the C Lazy U is top notch, five starÂ and definitely first class! The staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and then some. Our group had the pleasure of joining in all the winter fun; horseback riding, snowtubing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, sleigh ride, ice skating, spa services and more if they were so inclined! Yes! I got to ride in the snow for the first time in my life!

Did I mention the food?!?!

When you eat, your body undergoes a process called thermogenesis, where it generates heat as a byproduct of metabolizing food. This heat production can help keep your body warm in colder temperatures.

Okay this is my excuse for eating all the deliciously yummy food the ranch puts on the table!

Of course, you know we have to pay tribute to the ranch dog! Esther is Ami’s Blue Heeler and she’s was always entertaining!

I rarely leave home without my American Flag, how pretty is this in the snow?!?!
